AR Studios Launches Phase 1 of Industry-Wide Consultation on Anti-Toxic Policy

AR Studios is proud to announce the commencement of Phase 1 of its consultation process to establish an industry-wide Anti-Toxic Policy, as previously announced. This initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to fostering a film industry built on collaboration, respect, and integrity.

AR Studios is leveraging its extensive network of professional crew, to conduct this confidential consultation process. This phase will be carried out with appropriate legal guidance to uphold the highest ethical standards.

The Objectives of Phase 1

The primary goal of this first stage is to identify sources and examples of harassment, exclusion, and inappropriate behaviour that can be defined as ‘toxic.’ Through this, we aim to standardise the definition of ‘toxicity’ within the film industry, ensuring a clear framework that protects professionals at all levels. We will then share our unedited findings with our production partners.

Phase 1 consultation will conclude on 30 April 2025, after which we will share key findings with our production partners, and outline the roadmap for Phase 2, which will be announced in May 2025.
